“Tausala Fiafia”

Term 3 is just around the corner, and I'm excited to be back in partnership with Move Ōtautahi for another term of Siva Samoa.

This term's theme is A'oga Tausala Fiafia, as we work towards our end-of-term Tausala Fiafia showcase.

I've also combined the two beginner classes to create Vasega Fetū Ta'iala Pupula, an intergenerational beginner class for ages 11+, welcoming anyone starting their Siva Samoa journey.

I look forward to welcoming both new and returning students this term.

fa’aalualu fetu siva classes

vasega gogo : ages 6-10 4pm-5pm

The Gogo (frigate bird) represents guidance and navigation, always returning home. This beginner class introduces young tama’ita’i to Siva Samoa in a safe, supportive space, building foundational skills and confidence.difference.

vasega Fetū Pupula Ta’iala: ages 11+ (beginners) 5pm-6pm

Fetū Pupula Ta’iala, meaning bright guiding stars, celebrates growth, cultural pride, and learning together.

Open to ages 11 and over, this welcoming beginner Siva Samoa class brings generations together to build strong foundations, confidence, and poise. Students learn in a supportive environment that encourages connection, celebrates culture, and nurtures a lifelong love of Siva Samoa.

vasega malu : ages 14 + (Experienced) 6pm-7pm

Malu, inspired by mamalu, celebrates strength, honor, and the essence of tama’ita’i Samoa.

This experienced-level Siva Samoa class guides students to refine advanced technique, poise, and cultural expression, empowering them to move with both grace and power while deepening their connection to tradition and identity in a supportive, inspiring space.
